Historically, Brits have always touted Americans as driving the wrong way. But, it is the Brits who followed us down the wrong street this time!

I have to say I am simply disgusted by UK’s elections yesterday! It is not surprising the Labor party was going to take a big hit especially considering the scandals around the Epstein Files. I honestly liked Kier Starmer but his mistakes no doubt didn’t help. Frankly, it’s unfortunate. Like Biden, in Starmer’s short term, he walked into multiple crisis caused by the conservative parties hold on the country for decades prior. But, It is the general UK public that I am disappointed with! I was duped to believe the English people as being highly educated with a helping of etiquette and civility. However, after today, it is clear I was very wrong! As if there wasn’t ample evidence throughout not just world history, but massive amounts of recent news that being conservative was destructive to any civilized society, especially actions taken by Americas conservative Trump party. Vote counting is still unfolding but it looks like Reform and the Green party absorbed many changed votes. The Greens made considerable gains but not nearly as much as they should have gotten. The Greens should have mopped the floor with the conservatives in this election and these are the reasons why, and why I have lost a huge amount of respect for England! Trumps war in Iran directly affects an already financially strained UK public. His war also exposes how much dependency all of us rely on oil-and must move away from this environmentally damaging resource. Trump’s conservative party is vile in every respect and should have turned any decent English person away from the party, yet it appears many voters in England moved towards Reform UK and extreme right, which is leaps and bounds worse. Kemi Badenoch herself is a disgusting example of the people that make up the conservative party. I do not know a time she wasn’t attacking Sir Keir Starmer and frequently agreed with Trump and wanted to involve the UK into the Iranian war. I find it odd that herself being black would support a party given the chance would put her back in chains. I could go on and on about all the reasons why Conservatives, especially Reform should have lost and lost big.

The single biggest reason is, Sir David Attenborough! On his 100th birthday, A man with multiple monumental life accomplishments, I am sure he is watching in despair as his nearly eighty years of working with BBC on some of the most spectacular educational nature documentaries goes almost unacknowledged. David Attenborough is one of the worlds most respected humans in history-and he is one of your own. Even I know, his work over the last twenty years evolved from just a charismatic interest in nature, to emphatically stressing the importance of climate change and environmental destruction! If there is any one person the world should be listening to it is Sir David Attenborough. At a hundred years old he is still very intelligent and lucid. He alone at his age can attest to the destruction humans, especially corporations are causing to the planet. Yet, England just unveiled their ignorance. And just like Trump, that is not cool!
